Bread Baker

Orchard Hill Breadworks is seeking an experienced Bread Baker to join our team. We’re a wood-fired artisan bakery in southwest New Hampshire, focused on hearth-baked, naturally leavened breads alongside a wide variety of baked goods for retail and wholesale. Our production team includes both long-term employees and apprentices, and we take pride in the craft we practice together.

The ideal candidate is energetic, resilient, self-reliant, and focused — someone who works well in a team setting and is comfortable with long hours, heavy lifting, and a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities

• Produce breads, rolls, and pastries
• Mentor apprentices
• Participate in weekly discussions on product quality and team efficiency
• Help maintain a safe, orderly, and positive work environment
• Assist with bakery cleaning and upkeep

What we’re looking for

• Experience in commercial baking, kitchen, or farm settings
• Bench experience working with high-hydration, naturally leavened dough
• Experience using a peel to load bread
• Ability to work calmly under pressure and think quickly to solve problems
• Ability to stand for an entire shift, with occasional exposure to hot and cold conditions, and repeated lifting up to 50 pounds

Delivery Driver

Orchard Hill Breadworks is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. We’re a wood-fired artisan bakery in southwest New Hampshire, delivering fresh-baked breads and goods to retail and wholesale customers. Our team includes long-term employees who take real pride in representing the bakery in the community.

The ideal candidate has a clean driving record, a positive attitude, and a team-oriented approach to the work — someone who takes pride in doing the job right and represents Orchard Hill Breadworks professionally at every stop.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle along assigned routes
• Load, transport, and deliver bakery products to our customers
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle
• Represent Orchard Hill Breadworks professionally.
• Communicate proactively about route issues, delays, or customer needs
• Assist with loading/unloading and other tasks as needed

• Clean, valid driving record
• Safe driving habits and sound judgment on the road
• Positive attitude and reliability
• Comfortable with early mornings and physical tasks, including lifting
• Team-oriented mindset and pride in doing the work well
